Rent Our 1-Bedroom Villa For As Low As $99 A Day!

Stay at our 1-Bedroom villa for as low as
$99 a day – any day of the year!

Book our 1-bedroom villa and you will celebrate too!

Welcome to 2010 – the year you should visit Maui and stay at the Honua Kai Resort & Spa!  Honua Kai is the newest resort on Maui and the newest resort on Ka’anapali Beach in over 25 years!  Maui is THE #1 island in the world to visit – no other island comes close.

Starting on February 3, 2010 our 1-bedroom, ocean view, villa can be rented, on this website, for the unheard of price of as low as $99/day. That same day has Orbitz renting a similar 1-bedroom for $599.38!  (February 3, 2010) – this is a 700 sq ft condo with full kitchen, King bed, Queen sofabed, huge bathroom, washer/dryer, and an unbelievable view of the ocean.  So what’s the catch?  A sane pricing policy – that’s what we offer.

February is the month when snowbirds spend in Maui and not with their snowblowers back on the mainland; rental rates are at their highest in February on Maui.  Orbitz wants about $600 per day to stay in an identical villa at the Honua Kai and our “rack” rate is half of that at $300.  In addition we offer two kinds of discounts that help both you and us:

Firesale Discount of $99 for any day of the year:

14 days before any check-in day, our rental rate drops to just $99 a day!  Why on earth have our villa go empty – I’d rather see someone enjoy our villa.  So on January 3 at 1 minute after midnight, CST, you can book January 17, 2010 stay at what the Orbitz charges, $600 a day, for just $99 a day!  Our normal 5-day minimum stay requirement is lifted and you can just book one day if you wish.  I must be honest and advise you that there is an exit cleaning fee of $135 but even adding that in makes our villa the bargain of all bargains on Maui.

Real-time Price Comparison

Example of Mid July week (July 10 – 17, 2010; family of 4) and today is Dec 30, 2009:

Our cost:

The “Rack Rate” for July is Regular rate of $189/day.   Orbitz wants $555 per night!

Vendor Rent Extra
Expedia $3,675.28 $182.21 in additional fees & taxes when you check in
Travelocity $4,203.85 $182.21 in additional fees & taxes when you check in
Orbitz $4,285.40 $182.21 in additional fees & taxes when you check in
Booking.com $3,675.28 $182.21 in additional fees & taxes when you check in
Royal Hawaiian $3,914.12 $182.21 in additional fees & taxes when you check in
Me $1,323.00 $70.00 in parking fees & taxes when you check in

Let me make this clear – this is for an identical 1-bedroom partial ocean view!!!  There isn’t any difference except the glutinous profit the reservation companies demand.  Me, I think you deserve the money and not some huge conglomerate.

Expedia is the cheapest but costs $1,953.48 more than me!

That savings would pay the airline tickets for a family of 4!

$99 per day rate!

At 14 days and less, before check-in, you can book any open day(s) for the ridiculous price of just $99/day.  Normally we require a 5-day minimum stay but even that requirement is waved.  There is the exit cleaning fee of $125 but spread over 7 days it becomes peanuts.

Let’s say that you luck out and on July 14, 2010 at 1 minute past midnight you check our availability calendar and see that – you just hit the jackpot!  Here is the rental rates for the Firesale Discount:

30-Day Firesale Discount Rent Extra
$99/day $909.28 $70.00 in parking fees & taxes when you check in
