Ratings – What do Guests say?

The Honua Kai has been open just about a year now and the results are in – Honua Kai is a 5-star resort with a reputation to match!  I’m going to recap a number of popular websites’ reviews of the Honua Kai.  Please remember that positive reviews are hard to solicit from vacationers and hyper-negative reviews are very easy to solicit; that’s what’s make the reviews of the Honua Kai so outstanding.

During the past year two (2) construction projects have been going on both sides of the Honua Kai.  1) The second Honua Kai tower and 2) Westin timeshare construction.  The Honua Kai has had no restaurant to add to the ratings, only one swimming pool, and no kids-club.  Still the reviews are just outstanding:

Many of the above are just hotel rooms and have no bedrooms, full kitchens, washer/dryer, and a feeling of being at home while in paradise.

Reviews:

26 reviews were submitted from February 2009 to the end of November 2009.  Out of these 26 reviews 22, or 82%) were rated the highest satisfaction level of “Excellent” and the remainder of 4 (18%) were rated “Very good” their second highest satisfaction level. There were no “Average”, “Poor”, or “terrible”.

I have to reiterate that folks who have bad experiences with hotels/motels/condos/resorts can’t wait to bash the place when they get back from vacation.  To have 82% of the visitors to the Honua Kai rate Excellent is outstanding!
